In January I replaced my front rotors and pads on my
2002 Tacoma (I didn't do anything to the rear drums)
I got a cheap set of pads and rotors off eBay, I expected
Them to make noise when I stop. Anyway it now appears
To make noise when I'm driving (not even braking) and
When I tap the brakes it will go away for a minute then come
Back a few miles later ? I plan on greasing all my bushing
Tomorrow but any thoughts on what this brake noise could
Be if even the brakes ?

Can you describe the noise (squeak, screech, metal-on-metal, tick-tick-tick etc.)?

No disrespect, but is this one of your first rotor and pad jobs or have you done this a few times before?

the noise is a squeal type of a noise gets louder when I break and is really loud when I drive on the freeway (not braking) I've done brakes in the past.. I did buy the cheapest crappiest brakes and rotors one could fine. anyway I'm going to order brembo blanks and hawk pads and hope it solves the problem.. Should I also replace/flush the fluid? and do the drumbs?

why would you cheap out on something that literally has a direct effect on your life and anyone else in that death trap with you? not saying for sure a problem, but lets use our heads here and think about this. and not only that, now that their a problem, you are gonna jump up to brembo's and hawks. so now youve wasted that other money no matter how cheap that shit was. are you running a lift? bigger tires? more weight? go oem. camelback toyota hit me for 200 for oem rotors and pads. not to be a dick but c'mon. do it it once, right, the first time.

I bought the crap at first because I didn't think
It mattered nor did I know any better. They stop great, but are super loud and squeal. Learned my lesson. I already bought the
Brembo's and hawks, I am running larger tires. Everything
Else stock. Thanks for your reply .. I would have bought
Your oem sets had you replied before I pulled the trigger
In fact I wanted oem and couldn't find them anywhere .. I'll hit you up in the future for other toyota needs first
