How much more would I need to save in reference to the "full" lift you guys are talking about? Bc, I do have a hole burning in my pocket.

You get what you pay for. Could range from your $500 price range all the way up to $3-4k

Aren't most of us bastards going to hell anyway?

I'd say you have to lineX the bed, bed rails, and tailgate lip if you're going to hunt with it. It'll last and just hose the blood right off.

I think the 3-4K lift will have to wait. I looked at your build and like the way it sits. Was that in the 500-1k price range?

Yes we are :D. It's a toss up right now. If I can get the needed parts by saving for another month or two to get a decent 3" lift, I'll do it.

I already invested in Armalite, Magpul and 5.56 NATO. I should be good for awhile. :D

Save it for a set of bilstein 5100's, eibach coils, and an AAL, wouldn't need much more to get all that stuff, maybe like $750 800.

Thanks, yeah my lift was right around $1,000 (960 to be specific).
That's with new bilstein shocks all around, eibach coils, all pro expo leaf packs and the toytec front differential drop kit

Is doing a diff drop recommended?

If I didn't have a hole burning so hot I would. I'm literally getting this info, making a list, and about to make a bulk purchase. :p

Eh.. some say yes because it helps with vibration/CV joint angles, some say no because it doesn't make a damn bit of difference.

Well the list of my lift is here (just click on the parts and it'll route you to the sites I used):
    --- Bilstein Shocks - Front 5100s, Rear 9.25" 5125s (roughly $320)
    --- Eibach Coils (roughly $160)
    --- (roughly $400)
--- Toytec Front Diff Drop Kit (roughly $30)
--- Extended rear brake line (get that wherever [All Pro/Toytec/etc]) (roughly $10-20-I don't remember)

Of course this doesn't include shipping, but have at it. I'm 100% satisfied with this lift

Makes a difference and is recommended for 1st gens, doesn't matter on 2nd gens.

Thanks for the help and opinions. I'm gonna go ahead and wait until income tax for the lift. But in the meantime, I'll go ahead and get some armor, cb, etc. If I don't buy something now, I'll end up wasting it on beer and, well, more beer.
