I have a 2002 Tacoma V6 non-egr that I have been trying desperately for months now to get these Doug Thorley headers on. I cannot for the life of me get the passenger side manifold to seal to the y-pipe.

So today I got off work early and thought i'd mess around with the headers. Still no luck, BUT I found out why.

It appears that the y-pipe, where it crosses over the bellhousing behind the block is hitting the back passenger side head, thus not allowing the pipe to seal against the manifold.

Has anyone else run into this problem?? A quick search yielded nothing.

Here are pics to show you what the issue is.
