I thought that I would share what I have done to clear the CEL- I have had this rig about 2 months now, and put 1200 miles on it. Purchased it with the CEL glowing and showing O2 sensor bad. Ended up replacing both. Then it was on to 2 other codes P0446, P0420. Replaced the gas cap with stock Toyota Cap, then on to the Charcoal Canister.(that replacement is a B*&#$% on a 10 year old truck with almost 200K, need a lot of lube). That took care of the P0446, then onto the P0420. Replaced both CATS, and the frustrating part was the code would come back after about 2 days!
Finally found a leak around the back O2 sensor, a little muffler sealer seems to have fixed that dreaded P0420.

Have to say I'm very happy with this Taco now!

Good job on getting the truck healthy. That's such a satisfying feeling of pride and accomplishment when you get the project finsihed and the truck buttoned up.

did you go OEM for the 02 sensors and cats or aftermarket? If OEM, must've been a pretty penny.

You must've got a great deal on the truck with the CEL on?

Used denso sensors, walker cats, all parts came from Rockauto.com

Paid 5200 for the truck, put new tires, changed every fluid, timing belt and water pump - I'm all in now under $7500. Not a bad deal for a fun little rig for my daughter and occasionally me.
