Aftermarket Carrier Bearing

I must suck because I have gone through 2 since the truck was bought, all OEM

 

look up the wookie bearing, i think its only for second gens, supposed to work great

 

All carrier bearings have play in them , excessively so it seems but apparently still within specs. which is funny because Toyota themselves have no spec. for what is considered acceptable for their CB's so its assumed that as long as the rubber grommett/isolater isn't torn,theres grease & its not squealing like a pig, That all is well, so go figure...

$140 for an OEM carrier is a good price, mine was just over $200 out the door..

 

just ordered the center bearing from camelback toyota, have to see if my brother-in-law has a jaw puller and good torque wrench extensions
