I'm thinkin of selling my 02 4runner and buying a 2000 excab tacoma
with a SAS Dana 44 with a 7 inch procomp lift but I'm not sure how much I should be paying. it's listed for $13k which seems to me to be a good deal for a SAS, plus out here in Hawaii Toyotas are ridiculously over priced.
it has 136k, 3.4l and no rust.
    what do you guys think?

That would all depend on how it was built.....

You could be paying $13,000 for a shade-tree hack job OR you could be paying $13,000 for a professionally & meticulously built rig.

Frankly....if you and/or a mechanic goes with you and looks underneath - you can almost immediately tell if its a hack job or even a 'half hack'. If its a hack job - DO NOT BUY IT.
    Too much baggage!

I'm pretty damn certain you could build yourself a SAS tacoma for much cheaper and exactly the way you want it. And/OR pay someone to build it for you for less (and without baggage).

Wow. That add is no help at all. If you want sound advice and opinions you are going to need a ton of pics, details on who did the work, and you should probably drive it extensively to make sure it drives on road well.
