Is this a 1st gen canopy?

Looks lil funny on 2nd gen anyo e tell if it's a 1st gen??? I emailed asking if it has a part number or midel number...

It looks 1st gen xtracab because of the slope at the cab

 

If that canopy fits correctly on that 2nd gen, then no, it is not a 1st gen canopy. The 2nd gen bed is several inches wider that our 1st gen beds.

 

It looks alot taller then the cab for sure

 

probably non-tacoma shell, frontier maybe?

 

If it is a taco canopy wiw?

 

My recommendation would be to find one that was designed for the 1st gen extracab. That one wont look right because it doesn't match the curve we have in the back of our cab.

Here is what I'm talking about. IIRC, I paid $350 for this one, with clamps, no broken glass and keys and locks that work.

This guy.claims its off a tacoma its about an hour away and he doest have the clamps. How much/where do you get clamps and wiw w/o clamps? I found this and a lo pro black toolbox for 150$ they both have pros and cons. Winter I wanna canopy summer a toolbox would be sufficient. Buy em both lol

 

Depends on what style clamps it uses. If it uses the fancy aluminum ones, they run about $40 for a set. If its just the steel hook clamps then you are around $15 a set. The oval sticker in the rear corner may say that its a snug top. If thats the case then clamps are plentiful

 

Its a stockland. Anyone got one? Pics?

 

If it comes down to it, ask them to measure it. Then you'll know if it fits or not.

 

Ive never heard of Stockland and I cant find the company webpage online. Reading a forum post from 2003 it looks as if they went out of business then. Good luck finding clamps that work. You will probably have to adapt some from another brand but who knows if they will work
