bab237131 should work. Direct replacement from Toyota and a better quality in my opinion. There is a button on the controller behind the inside fuse box behind the dash. Push that button and it puts it in learn mode. Tap a button on the remote and it will program.

Here is a link to programming it.

Yes that is the number on the back. That is the replacement. The original has a different number. Original is bab237131-022. Both have 2 buttons. And a single light. 2 vehicles can be programmed to the remote. Only one button is used to do the functions on the vehicle. Tap and it unlocks, tap again it locks, press and hold and the alarm goes off.

    the fleabay remotes work great.

I've had mine for a few months now and it's a really easy install.

With the ignition key in and turned (IIRC) you push the program button on the box (lil green button) and then push the lock button on your remote and viola.

    New remote.

    I purchased: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-REMO...Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1c15325e&vxp=mtr

and it HAS to have the same FCCID that's listed on the back of your OE remote otherwise they are incompatible, meaning the scion one you posted will be a nice, albeit light, paperweight.

Cheap and easy, but you can only have 3 (I think) remotes stored; that is a RS3000 limitation, not the remote.

Just a quick update. Mine came in within 2 days and worked flawlessly once I got the programming sequence down. Well worth the $69.95!
