    Can't find any definitive information on this, but I really like the painted fenders on the 01-04 gen 1 Tacomas. Looking to buy one but don't really know which model had them. Thanks.

    According to the attached (regarding the 2004 MY)... Fender flares were Optional on all PreRunner and 4x4 models. The "color-keyed" (aka painted) variety came with the "SR5 Color-Keyed Package" and the "Limited Package".

    The "SR5 Color-Keyed Package" was available on all Tacomas except S-Runners, while the "Limited Package" was available only on "V6 PreRunner Double Cabs, V6 4x4 Xtra Cabs, and V6 4x4 Double-Cabs. (FWIW, I've never seen the "Limited Package" on anything but Double Cabs.)
