Hey everyone, I plan on doing the fog light mod for the 01-04 1st gen's. I have the LED Switchback lights and i want to run the fog lights to a switch. I purchased the switch and have it, i also printed out the wiring diagram. It is this one. http://www.otrattw.com/wiring/F76a.pdf I have wired lights before but i have only used a simple 3 prong (power, ground, switch light) switch. This one is much more complex, all i want to do is power the 2 lights, ground the switch, and give power to the switch for the light on the switch. I get that #2 is for the power, and #6 is for the switch light I'm pretty sure. Other than that I am at a loss, also if i tapped into the power outlets, would they give enough power to supply power to the switch and the lights? All I'm trying to do is wire it so I can turn the fog lights on and off with the switch. I really don't want to return the switch either. Thanks, James.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
How many connectors are on the back of the OTRATTW switch you have? 4 or 5?

#8 connects to ignition activated positive (cig lighter outlet works well for this). This circuit is for lighting up the led emblem on the switch (low amperage)

#2 connects to 12v directly from battery (don't forget to use an inline fuse.) This circuit is the main power circuit to the lights, use 14ga or 12ga wire if possible.

#3 goes to the lights 12v positive. (Again, 12ga or 14ga wire.)

#7 and #6 can both be tied together and connected to a nearby ground.

Don't forget to ground the lights but this doesn't run back to the switch.

Just what Clint said, with one minor but important correction. :)

Wow thank you so much! and just making sure, the lights are the turn signals so they already have a ground. I wouldn't have to make another ground right?

You still have to have a ground for the LEDs in the switch.

6/7 are the Lower/Upper negatives, so yes, you need a ground there or you won't get a lights in your switch.

    8 is the upper positive.

The lower positive is picked up internally from #2, which is the incoming power source.

Took me a while to figure that part out when I got my first one.
