I just installed a Sony head unit in my 2003 Dbl Cab and I replaced the dash bulbs in the instrument panel with incandescent blue bulbs. The lights light and dim but are not very bright. Are they just really dim bulbs or is something else going on. Everything else works right... Do I just need to break down and get LEDs? Thanks!

I would think perhaps the bulb coating is limiting the amount of light? I would have suggested that you went with LEDs instead. They are much brighter and will last forever.

After researching I'll probably just do the instrument panel lights right now, it looks like the climate control is tinted and you need to get a panel from an 02 4runner to change it from orange to another color... The gauge cluster is 194s.
