I can honestly say, my current Tacoma has been perfect. I don't want to brag, and my past Tacoma's have all had their fair share of problems, but have always been the best and most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. I'm only at 6700 miles on this one, but they have been good. :D

I wish i could say that, I have an 01 taco with abotu 186k on it. Picked it up maybe 4 months back and it starting acting up quickly check engine like nearly a week after purchase transmission related luckily i had a 30 day warantee and they "fixed the issue." Now I have a number of leaks, transmission acting up and its struggling to accelerate. However just by the style and stickers old dried out weed i found inside the door panels I feel like the owner beat the shit out of it. However, i knew coming into it there was a chance it would have issues, didnt think it would be so quick though. I love the truck though and think with enough tlc I can get this baby to 300k. Just starting to go through it and replace things. Last week i put new spark plugs, fuel filter, and cleaned the maf sensor along with the air filer and am noticing huge differences in drive. Tomorrow I will be replacing transmission filter, and replacing the fluid. I have faith in this truck :)

    got 221k on my 95.5
all is well, except (after a couple of alignments) my wheel gradually keeps going off-center and i have to drive with it cocked semi-counter-clockwise :confused:
drives straight and true, though; as in, it doesn't pull in either direction

    lol

Never really had many problems with my baby, other than bad o2 sensors, my CAT, sticking from the calipers, and a bad solenoid. Just changed the water pump and timing belt out around 153k. Other than that shes a champ running strong at 155k. And a few leaks here and there nothing serious though.
