    Noob here, pardon the noob-ness.

Have had an 03 Tacoma Prerunner xtracab 3.4lv6 for the last 11 years, 135k. Starting to want to do a couple things to it - I have a few questions for those that know way more about this stuff.

1.) I think my shocks are blown or on the way out...rough ride, I think they definitely need to be replaced. I have rallied the truck semi-offroad pretty hard in the past. Any shock suggestions? Looking to order some and have them installed by someone, what kind of labor $$ am I looking at? So far thinking Bilstein or rancho shocks?

2.) similarly, my truck squeaks/creaks going over bumps, etc. Is this the CV boot? any suggestions there as well? What kind of labor cost for replacement am I looking at here?

3.) aftermarket headrests? My headrests are blown out, the metal frame inside bangs the back of your head. Any place I can order these?

4.) Any tips on recharging the AC?

Thanks for any advice you can give!

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    1) billys are a good shock, do them over ranchos personally. Id also look into OME nitorchargers. Labor no idea. ALways different and i did my own so can't help there

    2) you don't have CV axles. Your a prerunner..in otherwords..2wd. Its probably just the shock/leaf bushings.

    3) not sure sorry..

    4) recharging is pretty simple to do with just a parts store recharge bottle. They can usually help you and walk you through how to do it.
