I would look for the installation instructions online for your body lift or something similar and take a look at it. Then you can see if its something you can tackle or not, just do the opposite of the install.

Well I got everything off, its sitting back at stock height and thought everything was done. Took it for a test drive, and my steering is incredibly hard to steer, we had a hard time with the steering shaft, as the shaft itself had an extender on it. Anyone have any thoughts on why this may be?

best bet would be to jack it back up and ensure that nothing got bound up in the steering. and also test the steering while its up there see if its still an issue.

Thanks!! did that, and it got quite a bit better! still feels a little weird driving, but may be just handling characteristics, putting it in the shop next week to get 5100s and aal on, im gonna tell him just to look over everything and check the steering, and 4wd linkage.

I will be removing a three inch body lift soon and would pass it your way for cheap.

OP did you replace cab mounts with polyurethane bushings? Where did you get stock length bolts?
