looking for 2002 Toyota Tacoma owners manual..please help me...

    Hello Guys, i was wondering if somebody knows where can i find some info or download tacomas owner manual (not FSM, i allready got it), because i want to learn a few things about my 2002 - 4X4 - V6 Taco.

    hello my friend, i really appreciate your kind for help me with my questions, So, let me start with some of them.....

    -What is ECT button?

    -What is the procedure for press the Rear diff lock button? i mean, Can I press this button without set the automatic transmision in Neutral position? What is first? please explain to me if i'm wrong with this.

    -When i use 4X4 option, i set the transm. in neutral position, then, i press the 4WD. button wich is located on the 4X4 shift,.... Is this correct?

    ECT gives you a little more power. for passing other vehicles, etc.

    You need to be in 4 low to use the rear diff. So you would have your foot on the brake, shift to nuetral, then push the 4x4 button and put the 4x4 gear shift into low. once you are in low, and stopped, you can push the diff lock button, but you dont want to be moving when you push it, also i think you dont want to go faster then 5 or 10 mph with the lock engaged.

    4 high can be shift on the fly, i think below 60mph or so. Just push the button and pull the gear shift down into 4 high.

    to get out of 4 low or turn off the rear lockers, youll need to stop again, put into nuetral, then push the rear lock button. Then move the gear shift from 4 low to 4 high or back to rear wheel drive, then shift back to drive and push the 4x4 button.

    Somewhere on this site or cutomtacos.com there is a link for the full service manual. I downloaded it and it works great. I think its in .pdf file. Found it!!
