Shifter seat

    So, a couple years ago, I replaced the shifter seat with the Marlin piece. Worked great, shifted better than new. Now, it's very hard to get into gear, seems like the same problem only much worse. Looking at Marlin's website, it looks like a white seat is for my truck ('99 Tacoma). I think the one I put in was blue. What's the difference and would the blue one jam up in two years time? Or is there another issue going on? The worst is first, like at a stop light. Or going to fifth driving down the road.
