A couple of weeks ago I asked about problems with my manual transmission and the general consensus was that I should replace the fluid with MT90 and bleed the clutch. Well, I got the MT90, but would like to be sure about drain and fill locations. Please look at picture and let me know if I've got it right. (I couldn't find pics anywhere).

    Thanks!

I don't know what transmission I have ('95 2.4l, 2wd...does that help?). But after looking at the diagram and reading a couple of other related posts, I might need to look on the passenger side of the tranny for the drain plug. The bolt/plug on the bottom seems awfully large for a drain.

ALSO: What kind of pump does one use to deliver the new fluid to the fill hole...where do you buy one?

My trans is marked... you might try looking for a marking to be sure which one you have. As for the pump, I just got a cheap one (called oil siphon pump or something like that) from harbor freight. I think it was $5.

Remember to take the fill plug off first, because if you take off the drain plug first and the fill plug is seized, you're phucked. If you're not sure about the drain and fill plug locations, you could order a Chilton or Haynes manual dirt cheap from Amazon.com
