Mechanically stock, 21.5" led driving light, 4x 4" by 4" floodlights.
im on this strange trip to replace all my lights with leds to reduce all draw on my taco, only remaining ones are the 2 bulbs in my ac contols, headlights, and my brake lights/tail lights, now, the led brake lights work (had to use a shotgun to push down the pedal so i could see em) but my tail lights/rear markerlights wont work. now the orig bulb is a dual filiment bulb featuring 2 contacts on the bottom and a bayonet socket that prevents turning the bastard around ( i understand that leds are pole specific) just before i go through the effort of mailing the things back, does anyone have any experiance with this and if so, is their anything im doing wrong, any resistance that i need to put in line, and if possible, a link to a plug and play bulb that you may have used to successfully do a upgrade to led

where are you sourcing your bulbs from?

    you say brakelights/tail lights.

is this brake driving turn reverse, talk to me goose.

ill assume turn, you will have similar issues as you did on the front. however i have not personally found any bulbs, LED, dual filament, that one filliment is brighter then the other.

finally, you used a shotgun to press brake pedal to confirm working? how country are you? why not drive an old beatup chevy? a brick would of been significantly safer....

    run/brake are 1157
    turns are 1156
    backup are 921

    3rd brake light are 194

you read correct. red LED for red lense. the wavelength of the light will pass through the same color lense easier. incandescent just have more spread out light.

I have gotten light from www.superbrightleds.com for my bike

you could even find cheap ebay ones

OP, I didn't have any problems at all replacing all of my lights with LEDs. To save the time and hassle of resistors and such I bought Superbrightleds.com's LED flasher which is electronic, not load based so no hyperflash either. What LEDs are you installing? I think we all need more info here.

Maybe some resistors? When I changed out my rear turn signal bulbs in my 06' I had the hyper blink so I had to add an in-line resistor to get rid of it and it worked.

this plugs in behind the driver foot plastic piece fuse panel. Fog light mod uses a relay to close a circuit so you can use the dual filament.

also this thread is 6 months old, doubt OP will respond.
