Looking for something a little different that maybe had 6 lugs to mount the tire to or a center part that the tire mounts to:eek:

Yeah I needed a close up of that but I wonder how it would mount and tighten? I wonder if anyone gets like 3 screws and can some how put them in three of the holes on the wheels with nuts on the other side to tighten them?

What do you mean? You just set the spare tire on there and you tighten down the handle. It's not going to go anywhere. The whole 3 bolt idea would do the same thing except be more complicated.

Live seen some where the plate has screws and a lug tightens the wheel on which I really like just can't find many up close pics

Yeah, more complicated and would take more time to remove. But it can be done. That's what they do on swing out tire carriers.

If you are going to put the tire in the box you could maximize the space by standing the tire up and tucking it against the rail, then you would still have space for other toys like a trail bike or snowmobile.

I was just giving you the idea for the tire mount that's on there. It uses 3 lugs like you were wanting. You're going to just have to custom fab something to make it work.
