My 97 taco 4x4 seems to miss when idling or just cruising at highway speed. When I am getting on it she is fine. No problems off road or hill climbing. I have had folks give me a plethora of reasons it might be. Any advice or anyone run into this problem.

Oh, a friend that has driven a similar non 4x4 said my truck seemed a lot less torquey than the one he was driving. I have a new air filter, good oil and new spark plugs. Not sure what to check next but can't really throw money at parts all wily Billy.
