    Does anyoune know if the frames are the same and interchangable all through 95-2004? Thanks

    i dont think so and the reason why stems from that little rust issue

    toyota says the reason they bought back the 95.5-00s is because frames werent in production...and theyre just replacing them on the 01-04s because that frame is still in production

    i can tell you off the top of my head the front frame horns are different between those year groups

    from what i've heard the only difference is the front of the frame where the bumper attaches and from their back is the same i could be wrong though

    thanks guys, i'm looking into finding a wrecked taco w/ a good frame probably from texas or were there isn't any damn salt to replace mine, i can get a new one off a website given by another member but they want $2600 for one, if anybody else knows anything else let me know i need to know which trucks will work.

    01 SR: Double Cab conversion, S/C, lowered.
    As far as whole frame assemblies, you'd be better off looking only for 1998 - 2000 XtraCab 6-lug (PreRunner / 4X4) frames from a Tacoma with the same engine (4- versus 6-cylinder).
