Hey everyone. Im kinda new here. My Tacoma is a 1999 v6 sr5.

So I took my Tacoma to go play in the mud a couple of times and never got stuck until about a month or so ago. I was going slow for some reason and slid into a deep part. As I was getting pulled out, the front skid plate was ripped off and was only hanging by the 3 front bolts. Im not gonna reattach it since its all bent and broke.
Does anyone know where I can get another factory one other than by the Toyota dealership? It costs too much.
If anyone has a used one or something laying around and live in or by the central valley, let me know.

i posted in the wanted forum here for about a month or more and never got one
you would think with all the after-market skids people have, there would be piles laying around

i ended up getting one at a junkyard for about $20

    $20....

Toyota was wanting to get me to pay around $300 for a new one. For that price, I can get one of those bull bar ones or whatever.

I thought about junk yards, but its hard to find a Tacoma in any around me. Just tons of rangers and other pickups.

Well u already ripped out your stock one to me that means you need to upgrade so it won't happen again. Go with this guy^ he makes good skids at a decent price. Probably don't need a full set of skids or full 3/16" just get the front one with 1/8" thick metal.
