Putting a small light bar below headlight

    I was looking at my truck today and noticed the small piece of metal below the headlights. I measured and i can fit a light bar 11" long by 2" high. Has anyone done this? I think it would look cool. I seen a few 11" light bars by 2.3" i may be trying this!

    3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
    Different bumpers but I've got a 21.5" behind mine

    no im talking literately right below headlight. remove that little green piece and put one there. its 11 inches by 2 inches tall.

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    Sounds sick! How you you mount it? My metal pieces always look like there genna fall out

    The bottom of your headlight is there.... wouldn't have much depth

    OP i've also thought about this. i'm missing a piece and thought about an additional LED or whatever in it's place. before the new rims, black toolbox and spindles

    Not even. Maybe an inch. Im down 1 myself, havent gotten around to replacing it. Its a worthless trim piece, no idea why theyre separate from the grill.

    Damn it seems like such a good spot for lights hopefully the Chinese will make a slim one

    Yeah it's literally a little cover for whatever the hell is behind it. Could maybe hollow it out and throw in something but i'll have to look at it more tomorrow
