This is a pretty sweet necro-post...

If you like driving at night and don't want headlights that leak when it rains, just stick with OEM or CAPA certified aftermarkets (like from rockauto).

But if you want that bro look so you can throw some sweet LEDs in there, get whatever you think looks coolest. But don't expect good performance (i.e. a good cut off pattern). HID Retros are great, but expensive.

The unfortunate thing about our trucks is there aren't really any after market companies that make well designed housings... It's either the bro look that leaks, doesn't fit right, and definitely poorly projects light, or you get the boring OEM look.

Get yourself a rood-mounted light bar and a snorkel, and no one will ever notice your boring headlight housings, lol

I've never had issues with mine leaking, though I did seal them with extra silicone after putting projectors in

    Installing these over the weekend!
Found a guy selling these in Offerup. He said they were custom made over a year ago but he sold the truck.

Ballasts and bulb are 35-watt cheap china knockoffs, but projector seems solid. I asked if they were Morimoto by any chance, he said he thought so.
Maybe it's true since the HID relay he provided was an H4 Morimoto.

The second pic is me testing everything before install.

I Will update with pics when installed!

I have d2s projectors. Why? Because all D-series bulbs are standard for HID. D1S, D2S/R, and D4S.

Started with these eBay headlights replaced OEM 7-8 yrs ago:

97 Hella sealed beam conversion H4 lights and 97’ grill and side lights- surprised they matched, thought I might have to paint them. I did wire brush and paint the emblem, till I find something interesting. Current view with the the Superbrightleds fogs and same Anzo HIDs:
