Has anyone used these tools to remove and replace factory upper ball joints? I understand I need a c-clamp to press.

    Thanks

Most C-Clamp ball joint removal kits have extended press cups, to press around the base of the ball joint, and press from its inner-shoulder.

Its a pain in the dick, anyway you slice it. I often end up using duct-tape to hold everything together, to get the clamp on and tightened down. You're juggling about 5 things at once, trying to keep it in line, and trying to screw down the C-Clamp while still keeping the stack together.

Their tool, takes 1 extra piece out of the equation (assuming you don't have/aren't renting, a ball joint press kit). Do I think its worth it? Not really. Most auto-store rental kits have the correct sized cups.
