Here's a picture of mine. 2002 SR5 with TRD. Bought it used but previous owner had leather installed.

Why would it matter if it was a limited or not? It was up fitted with leather. They could up fit a base it would not matter. I smell a troll.

You've been able to get Toyota factory heated leather in Canada since 2008

It's an option on the Toyota.ca site in the build and price

If he doesnt want us to reply then he shouldnt post it on a forum and contradict himself about it or argue with people if they have a different idea than his own

Yes he knows where it came from and that it was not a factory option. So what's his question? What's he trying to find out? Who knows?

    Alright I'm out...

I'm not contradicting anything. I stand by my FACTS but you know everything so I let you think you know what you're talking about. Leave it be.

If it is factory installed, then please give me the factory Toyota part numbers so that I can go to my local Toyota dealer and have them pull up the leather for an 01-04 Tacoma in their computer system without having to make a telephone call? Until I am capable of doing so then it is not Factory installed.

Well after 2 hours on the phone with Toyota themselves they emailed me the info on my truck when sold to dealer. Look closely. Right now I'm emailing the plant to find a part number.

So let me get this straight, if it is not put on or offered from factory, but gets put on before being purchased, that makes it factory. Is it also considered oem equipment?

We are still determining that @stumpman. Waiting on @shabutie to provide factory Toyota part numbers so that we can verify with the local Toyota dealers parts department.

Well let me put it this way. At my job we add Katzkin leather. The sales personnel push it by saying its covered under the factory warranty. It may have a 3/36 warranty because it was installed before the purchase but all warranties are called in to Katkin. Not the manufacture.

So is it factory leather, no. It did not come off the assembly line with it. Is it covered under the factory warranty. No it has the same basic warranty but is covered by Katzkin.
