I installed an aftermarket radio in my truck and it's been working great until the other day when I went to get in the truck and it wouldn't power on. So I took the radio out and all the cords are intact but when I went to plug in the stock radio to see if it was the radio or power supply it didn't work either. So a couple hours ago I used a test light on it and it didn't light up. Any ideas?

Also I forgot to mention I checked the engine bay fuses and all good but I checked the cabin fuse for the radio. It's a 7.5 and it looked a bit fried but it wasn't broken. Think I could go up to a 10 considering the new radio is 14.4 amps vs the 12 of the stock radio and not start an electrical fire?

A fuse can be bad even though it appears 'un-broken'. Test it with a multimeter, or replace it.

Think it be safe to replace the 7.5 with a 10 because of the raise and amps from the head unit?

You should not up the size of any fuse. Unless you want to possibly let the smoke out of the wires. It's a bad idea.

Is the head unit a Kenwood? If so you will have to install an update from their website.
I had to do the same thing. Mine would not power up, but the update fixes this.
