95' r 95.5' ?

i just bought a tacoma and im trying to think of mods to do with the stock 2.7 so it wont be so doggy on the highway but i need to know what year to look under. the doorjam says 8/95 so i figured it was past the .5 stage

 

If it is a 95 Taco and it was made in August of 95 then I would think it was probably one of the very last 95's made.

 

It's a 95.5 or a 96. 1st gen Taco model years were 95.5-04. Mine was made in 8/98, but it's considered a 99.

 

i think it is a 95.5 or reaqlly a 96 because it has the obd2 plug

 

mine was made 1/96 isnt that sweet lol...anyhow here is what i have k&n drop in filter,denso plugs,deckplate mod, and a new mod i took and cut that box off the intake right above the exhuast cause i figured it was heating up the intake charge...boy that added more low end grunt than anything....took the pro boost box off once it started smoking....Damn chips
