I believe the guy I'm buying this Tacoma from is a straight shooter and telling me the truth about the truck but I would like to check the VIN anyway but don't want to spend almost $50....

I have checked the Toyota owners site and the only thing that shows up is where he told me someone stole the CAT out from under it and he put all new exhaust back on it....That report didn't show the mileage at the time or should I say it was shown as 1.

    Thank you

Got back home around 5:00pm with my new Tacoma....Everything seemed rock solid so I paid $8250 for it.
See some pics below....These are the ones he sent me when I was looking it over.....I'll take some more tomorrow of the frame....It has no rust issues at all....He had it totally re-painted I guess for re-sale value....? No body or frame damage at all....All the body panel and glass Vin#'s check out.....The repaint was not a cheap one....No over spray on any rubber molding or anything else I had to look very hard to even notice it when I got back home.

Nice rig. Love the color. Way back in '98 I almost bought one just like that!

Looks great, not a big fan of the fender trim though. It always ends up rusting under them. Hopefully they arent on there to cover up rust

I have peeked under the chrome trim....When it was repainted they were taken off and I didn't see any signs of rust under them...Funny you say that because that was the first thing my kid said about it....He doesn't like the chrome over the wheel wells either....I like them so they stay....I will take them off or atleast loose and wash out from under them every once in awhile. Only thing I miss from my former daily driver (2007 Chevy HHR) is the automatic door locks. It feels nice to ride in a truck again.
