So i have a 99 taco 4x4 with bilstien 5100's on it. i used to have 5125's on the rear but after i put an AAL on i blew a shock and went with longer 5100's from DSMS. When i recently went hunting i filled my truck and vista camper shell to the max and i heard a very weird sound as i drove down the dirt roads... it was a clunk. turns out i was hearing my shocks bump as they were fully compressed from the weight because my springs were pretty much doing squat.
SOooooo long story short. Im thinking i need to get some new springs on this fellow and im looking for a lil brotherly love as to what leaves i should go with...
Thanks in advance for your help!:)

If you haul serious weight and want flex, I like my Alcan 8 leaf setup. You can get an off-the-shelf set or call up Bill and have them make you a custom spring rate for exactly the amount of weight you keep in your bed.

i think right now i have an inch of lift. I have a vista camper on my truck maybe 40% of the time and that cant weight more than 200 lbs. i guess the other load i would be carrying would be when i pack out the truck to go hunting. price wise i think the range i seem to be seeing is 350 to 500... i dont know if i wanna go too tall on the lift cause then i gotta change the brake lines n stuff.
