I DID do a bunch of searches but there doesn't seem to be a consensus. My eyes hurt from staring at the screen.
    I have a 3" lift.

    Will they work without spacers?
Is the -12mm offset okay for 8" wheels?
    Is the 4" backspacing enough?

Those seem to be the points of contention. I haven't found any other 16x8 rims with less backspacing.
I've seen people say lees than 4 is idea. But also others say 4.5 is perfect. or 5 is okay.
And have also read 0 offset is what you want. Or -6. Or -12. And then others that say -12 is too much for an 8" wheel.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I just checked out his build thread. His truck is badass! I couldn't find out from the thread whether or not he had to do any cutting to make them fit. But I pm-ed him to see.

I've got 265's on stock rims right now. I was all set to pull the trigger on them but got thrown off when I found a thread where a coupe people said -12 offset is too much for 8" wheels (I don't know why). And another that said with 4" backspacing they'll still rub. My 265's don't rub now and the 285's aren't even an inch wider, though they will be higher up in the well.

Street driving you'll be fine. Might have to trim the pinch weld area, nothing a box cutter and a big mallet can't solve.

I have 4.5" BS on my wheels (16x8 w/285s) and I rub the frame occasionally.

Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.
There are a few guys on here running that set up and I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of those myself. I already lost most of my fender plastic when I went to 265/75r16's with a saggy stock lift. I also will not be going with the aggressive mud tire this time either. Most likely going with Toyo AT2's. Hopefully with a little less side lug it will be okay. The only thing now is do I go crazy and order 5 of each........

Yea he just had a lift and trimmed the pinch weld and thats it, you'll be fine.

When stuff like that happens check more than one source on that issue

We'll I pulled the trigger and ordered 5 wheels and 4 tires. Pro Comp 7069 and Toyo AT2's. If you haven't made the decision yet to order I should be posting a report in here next week once they are mounted.

Okay, so it took a little longer than a week but here you go.........they fit great but I did go ahead and order the black chrome ET style lug nuts from Wheelers just in case the Pro Comps diidnt get enough thread. I think the Pro Comps would have worked fine but I have read where others had some shaking issues with those and the ET style fixed that. They also helped center the wheels a little better.

Haven't flexed it or anything but so far no rubbing. This is a hunting and fishing rig and sometimes on hunting land they stuff but I never really have issues with that. I spend more time on the beach in the sand than anything and the bigger, wider tires offer better floatation in sand conditions.

Are these the lugnuts you ordered? Are they working out? Any balancing issues?
