This winter took a toll on my truck. My dash started a rattle during the winter cold spell and it's getting louder especially on the colder days. It's noticeable over my radio at normal levels. I can push hard on the dash and it stops. Anybody else have this issue?

everyone has this issue haha! i've had two tacomas and both did/do it. i've found success by wedging an appropriate diameter length of rubber hose between the windshield and the dashboard.

X2, 1/4" vacuum hose works great! Go the full width of the windshield, just don't cover up the V.I.N.

My '99 did that. I took the center console apart and tightened down every screw/bolt that I could find and it stopped.

My 01 has been doing it since around 06 or 07, if it can be heard above the stereo then turn it up, if that still does not work get a better system :D

Ok, on a serious note, I just got some foam and wedged it between where the dash meets the bottom of the windshield in the center, it does`nt take much, just a small piece, wedge it in there and you`ll never know it`s there, wahlah, rattle gone. :)
