So does any body know what size wheel spacers I need to have to fit the 2nd gen stock steel wheels on my first gen?

I know they won't fit without spacers but I don't know how thick to buy?

Also they appear to have about 5.5" of back spacing

These are the wheels in question:abu9y3ag_68b4d3a9946b38600635a509ee3fcbadc1ab1765.jpg

I guess they are that much different because I have 2nd gen TRD wheels on my truck and we tried to put those Steelies on with mud tires last week and they hit the upper control arm!

They are 265/75r16s not super wide or anything! They were on the 2nd gen trd wheels before and fit just fine! My truck has about 2.5 inches of lift!

I think I am going to get 1.5 or 2" wheel spacers!

Oh okay, then it looks like 1.5" spacers ought to work for me then!

You won't see 2nd Gen Tundra wheels on any Tacoma.
1st Gen Tundra wheels fit (and were stock for some models/years) on the 1st Gen.
They will fit the 2nd Gen Tacoma, but the backspacing is not the same.

Yeah I got my mud/offroad tires mounted on them! I like them better than the stock steelies off of my truck! I am going to paint them white and look like the old school toyotas! and its cheaper to by spacers than to have them remounted on a different set of wheels!

Tundra is still pretty much on it's 2nd gen.
It's had a few facelifts, and the Doublecab Tundra and Sequoia had some differences from the access cab and regular cab.
Toyota might be calling the '14 the 3rd Gen, but it's really little more than a 3rd facelift.

2nd Gen and later Tundra are 5 lug. Every one of them from 2007 on. 5 x 150mm
1st Gen were all 6-lug, every one of them... 6 x 140, same as the 6-lug Tacoma.

And those are not Toyota factory wheels. They might by port-installed by Gulf States/SET, but they aren't factory or TRD.

    Positive.

Definitely not any Toyota factory wheel... but Gulf States and SouthEast Toyota slap together all kinds of cosmetic packages.
I don't doubt that you've seen those rims on a Tundra, and they may or may not be available from tires.com
