I'm in northern CA (Sacramento) and my gf lives in Reno. I haven't started price shopping yet but I do know here in CA, prices can get a little inflated. For things like tires, cat. converters, etc, is there any advantage to buying in another state? I'm assuming there are members from this area who may know a little more than me. Thanks.

mostly taxes and some items cant be sold in CA due to emissions but I think NV has a sales tax as well and the only thing I can think of that you could buy there and not here is a long tube header.

not really THAT advantageous. other than supporting NV.

Thank you biscuits. I figured it was a stretch but I'll be needing tires soon so I thought I'd ask.
