Hey so got a 99 2.7 that was lifted 4" with 33s. Going slow up to ~40mph there's no wheel shake but then it gets super bad up to 55mph then seems to get better. I had the wheels aligned but it still shakes thru that mph range. Are the wheels not balanced? or is something else wrong? Thanks

+1 above. 9 times out 10 of the vibration is limited to a specific speed range it's a tire or tires out of balance

X2, sounds like you may have lost a tire weight.

If you have the time, before you pull out your wallet, why don't you try to isolate the problem and rotate your tires front to rear, go for a test drive and see if you still have the problem. The problem will either continue or go away. It it goes away, you know the problem is in the (now rear wheels). If it remains, its either wheel balance or the front suspension is worn. In which case, you have a bigger problem.

Let us know what you find out.

1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
Take it to a real off road place. I had a huge problem with my 33" any real tech should be able to clean that up pretty nice. Mine still wobbles a little but it can ride a straight line.

Plus they can take it for a spin and determine what's best, some discount tire jack offs only know the basics. I had a discount tire guy tell me 33" generals would fit with no chopping required.... Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhha

It's your tires, mine shook like crazy! I got new tires and rims today (needed new ones) and they didn't shake at all at 60 mph

+1 Wheel balancing. My car had the same issue after getting new tires. The show didn't balance them correctly and it would vibrate in that exact range.

the same thing is happening to my truck, I hate it. I already got my tire balanced again, and it still shakes from 45 to 50. if i leave this untreated, how much damage will I do to my truck?

I would double check that you don't have any large rocks in the on the tread. I would hope that the tire shop did this before balancing, but you never know.
Outside of that, you are looking at any of your rolling mass to include you drive shaft.
You could have a broken belt in a tire, but that is normally felt across any speed range and more noticeable at lower speeds. Still something to look at.
Does the steering wheel shake in sync with the vibration? if it does, look to your front end. If not, start at the back. For broken belts, put it up in the air and spin the tire looks at the tread. See if you notice and left to right movement of the tread pattern as the tire is spinning.

As for damage, you could wear out bearing, suspension, tires, your back, etc, etc, prematurely.
