    Hello everyone,

Just got done giving my recently purchased Taco a tune up. Anything else you guys have in mind that I don't have listed? Also, timing belt was recently replaced before I bought it.
    Maintenance Completed:
    Oil change/filter
    Air filter
    Spark plugs (wires were good)
    Coolant flush/refill
Front & Rear Diff. oil change
    Transfer Case oil change
Auto Trans fluid was nice and red - still may flush/refill

Also, picked up a new Gibson cat back on Amazon for 225 with free s/h - of course I had to tell the wife it was more of a maintenance reason.

Anything else with these trucks that require routine maintenance? Thanks for any help.

    Started automatic. Swapped to manual
I would make sure to hit grease fittings. Don't know if you rotated tires either. Good view of brakes, calipers, etc.

How many miles on the trans fluid? How many miles on the truck?

If I bought 2nd hand and it had a auto, I would change that out on a initial service, just for my peace of mind. Depending on what I see in the pan would determine if it needed a flush or not. Bright red fluid on the dipstick does not always denote a happy trans.

Spare tire and jack in good shape?. One thing that is always overlooked until it's needed.

agreed with the suggestions above and also check the lower ball joints for excessive play. there was a recall on the 01-04 tacomas.
