It's a great setup. Do you have a bumper or winch on the front? If not are you planning to add them in the future? What year is your truck?

could i add dakars in the back and just block it in the front. i need new shocks so i might as well lift it but i dont wanna put 1000 bucks in a truck just in a lift that has 166k on. but i do need the back lifted with leaf springs for the hauling part on it

If you plan on adding an ARB I would go ahead and bite the bullet for the springs and shocks. You're stock springs aren't designed for the added weight and if they have 166k miles on them the ride will be affected.

If you're going to go with the Dakars in the rear I would highly recommend going and grabbing the bolt from toyota before you go and start removing everything. The driver side forward bolt tends to seize in the sleeve that is in the leaf spring and you don't have enough room to hammer it out. I had to sawmill it out on my 2003 when I put the Dakars on it.

The ARB is a hefty bumper, your original stock setup will definitely suffer.

Thanks for asking, yes I did. I also had an ARB with a Warn M8000 on the front and a demello rear bumper. After about 2 years I had no significant settling and the truck was able to be aligned just fine without upper control arm replacement.

If by front you mean which springs did I choose then I went with 882's due to the bar and winch. If you're only going with a ARB Bar and no winch then I'd recommend the 881 coil springs.

I was local to ARB's U.S HQ so I didn't pay shipping and I paid about $900 for it. I did a diff drop as well as a carrier bearing drop and actually had more of a vibration with both of those post lift than I did after I removed them. All in all I never measured any of the angles on the DS or front axles v=but in 2 years of having the lift I never tore a CV boot or had to replace a u-joint.

for the cost you're not going to find much out there. You could go spacer but I would say that for a '95 Tacoma 166k on the odo is really low! I would suggest going and putting money into the springs and shocks up front considering that you want to add an ARB bar. I did have 5100's and OME 880's ohm it originally and after I added the ARB bar the thing rode like shit.

You are talking about putting dakars on the rear for what you'll be carrying why not spend a few extra bucks and put something solid up front for carrying the load of an ARB bar and giving you a good ride.

OME or any other coil over in the front is going to make your ride way better and be a upgrade than the factory ride is anyway. And 166k on your truck isn't that much especially for a 95

I had the benefit of being local to ARB but I ordered thru wheelers off-road.
