help starting problems in the mornings

hey everyone ,im new to tacoma world ,i owned a 02 tacoma and with 142000 miles and having starting problems only in the mornings after using it in the day ,i had changed the battery and still getting same results ,during the day and nights the taco runs like new but as soon as i park it and go to start in the morning its giving a sluggish & very low idle start i have to step on the pedal to rev it then it starts and after that no problem ,how can i fix this ???

 

When was last tune up ?
Fuel filter , spark plugs etc .
Have you cleaned the throttle body , idle air control motor etc ?
What have you done to try and alleviate the issue ?

 

When was the last time the truck had a tune up?

 

i had jus changed the batteries because i taught that was the problem,i wanted to go get it scan tomorrow, no tune-ups was done in like 6 to 8 months now . i had the throttle body in mind but didnt get around to it .
after my first start in the morning the truck is fine for the day even when i turn off for like 2 hrs and turn on back its fine .

 

Is the alternator good?

Are you battery terminals tight & clean?

Could be just about anything...... Hell, every once in a while, my 07 is sluggish to start.

Something I've read on this forum..... Try turning your key to the ON position and let it sit there for a couple seconds, then turn to start. I'm not exactly sure how effective this is, but I understand what/why .... it's supposed to prime the fuel pump.
Worth giving it a try.....

 

I'm going to guess Coolant Temperature Sensor but I could be wrong.

 

battery terminals tight and clean thankz ,i had tried the turning of the keys to the on position and let it sit there the turn but same thing happens ,but when i press the pedal while starting it starts perfect
