Disconnect the negative battery cable for about 10 mins
That will let the ecu reprogram the a/f mixture.

So I unplugged the positive and the rpms dropped to 1100 when in neutral and 800 in gear something isn't right?

    Maybe a air leak?

Well. I was thinking that over the years the sensor and tb had gotten dirty so the ecu was compensating and adjusting the a/f. So when you cleaned everything out, It needed reset because everything was more free flowing.
Unplugging the pos just helps the ecu recalibrate a little faster but it might take a few miles for it to actually figure out where it needs to be.

How many miles have you driven it since disco on the pos wire?
Recheck all the vacuum hoses on what you cleaned? Maybe you knocked something else loose.

Cuz I haven't ever done it and the amount of dirt in my after market system felt it was due time. We have had salt trucks out this winter and wanted none of that in my engine.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
You got to let the ECM re-learn everything. Dont be surprised if your truck stalls out when turning on the AC shortly after resetting the computer.

Yeah, they salt the shit out of this place. Pre salt even before snow. Oh yeah, sand also. That sand is terrible on hood paint. I think your truck will clear itself up with some driving.

You can also pull the ECU fuse for 15 mins, then put it back in.

After I cleaned my MAF and TB, and doing that ^, it took a few start ups, driving, turing the truck off, etc before the computer relearned everything.

mine has not changed since October but I also have not pulled the -neg cable since I cleaned the MAF/outside TB back in September.

I was planning on pulling the whole TB and cleaning it along with the IAC this weekend but you know, rain decides to come to town....sigh (no garage either)

I'll try the battery cable but I've driven over 3k miles since October with no change in sometimes high rpm. I've always used an oiled filter and my MAF was brown coated which is one of the reasons I did it
