i want to do this simple mod but have a question before i do. Has anyone else noticed the warning on the door not to go over 5 mph with the locker engaged??? so when i lock that baby in 2wd i think the old girls gonna spin tires a little faster than recomended.

Front dome light added, light reminder added, door chime mod, added 2nd gen 4runner headrests, grey wire mod, 2lo mod, more later.
Someone said the pre runners have a diff lock and they run 55 to 60 with the diff locked shouldn't be any different for the 4 wheel drive. I have done the grey wire mod and it's real easy to do.

You're only not supposed to go over 5mph when engaging the locker. Once it's engaged, you can go as fast as you want.

Personally, I only try to engage the locker at a stop, then slowly drive until it locks.
