Reverse Raked & Sagged Suspension Evaluation

I measured my ride height and I have 8.5" up front and 7.5" out back from the top of the 31" tire to my fender flares.

I think I have a spacer on the front, see pic. If so, it's out. Because then I'll be level at 7.5" front and rear.

Second, have a look at my rear springs. Am I sagged? Do I need new springs or is this ok for now? I just bought this truck: '02 reg cab with 98k. I'll hear recommended courses of action. I do not want any lifts. Just as stock a ride as possible, tho bigger tires are on it currently but will be changed to a different set of bigger tires.

For a more relevant measurement, measure from the center of the hubs to the bottom of the fender flare.

fyi - your rear leaf springs look much happier than mine.

Okay I'll check that tonight and report back. That measurement is a little more difficult because these tires poke out 4.25" from the fenders. Ugh. Can't wait to replace these wheels and their insane backspacing.

If it helps any, you can totally see it just by looking at it.

Great looking truck... You do have a small spacer up front & rear leafs are normal for our trucks... What would you like to see from her??? She looks like she is sitting level... How many miles on Ole Gurl??? V6 or 4 Banger? You just get her? How much $$$?????

We got 24-7/8" up front and 23-3/4" out back. Basically the difference is equal to the width of the spacer. Perfect. It's gone. Never liked that idea anyway.

Not interested in any lifts, just want good, stock performance from her. Would like some bigger tires, between 30s and 31s. Been debating on either 265/70-16 (just a touch shorter than the standard 265/75 that's popular, or going with a 245/75 for the same height but saving some width for efficiency.

She's a Prerunner as I don't do any offroading. I bought her for renovating my house while saving some gas but still having something interesting/reliable to drive, as I am a car guy first and foremost. I'm a mechanic by trade, and I hate working on my own shit so here I am.

98k miles, 4 cylinder, for $7k. Exterior is 9/10 and interior is 10/10. Came with those wheels and new tires, nerf bars, and fender flares. No leaks, bone dry underneath. Runs great. Loving it so far, even tho I downgraded from a V8 Lexus GS400. The difference in amenities is quite a shock. From power leather memory seats and remote control windows to not even a fekkin' clock. The no cruise control was a rude awakening on the drive back after I bought it LOL

But I still love the truck for it's simplicity. And I know I will continue to do so.

Took me some time to find the combo I wanted, and ended up taking a year and still was 4 hours away. Always had a thing for the reg cabs.

So suspension wise looks like I don't have to spend any money and just remove that spacer to bring it back level. Excellent. When the springs and shocks get tired I'll do the whole deal at stock height.

Tho yours looks great with the kit you put on. Let's see how long I can resist.
