I would bet its a total, sorry man.
for what its worth you should remove all you can of the mods so you can put it on your new one.

unless of course you are gonna but it back.

Thanks everyone for your honest opinions...I do have full coverage, 2001 with 289,000 miles on her. Love her to much to get rid of her...plan is to buy it back from insurance cause I know they will total her. Now the real question is how do I go about fixing her? Do I jack up the roof line, or do I go to a junk yard and cut the cab off that and stick that on her. Also after the insurance totals it would the truck ever be able to be insured and street legal again? Or do I take the money the insurance will give me and try and get the same year truck and just swap out the parts on her to the "new" truck. Im so lost guys, I need all the help I can get right now.

I would not recommend trying to fix it after buying it back. With that damage it will never be the same - the windshield won't fit right, the doors won't close right, it won't drive the same, etc...just too many headaches. Swapping all your parts to another truck is what I would do

If the insurance considers it a "total loss" and you buy it back, it won't likely have a clear title. Maybe a salvaged or reconditioned title. I don't think any insurance company would provide coverage under those circumstances.

Matching cut cabs is a art. It takes LOTS of time and lots of measurement of you have never done that,,and even if you have.

Most likely/maybe someone will re-insure you again after all is fixed and checked off. Might be a bit of work and money both ways. I know Cali law can be crazy about that stuff thanks to all others comments on the board.

A buy back. Make it a trail truck only. Snag something else for towing-towbar if you have the room and extra funds.

It's a project truck now as far as that one is concerned. Sucks,,but you have it the way you want it now for the most part,,a shame in my book to toss it away or move out and then move all back onto whatever you choose. Really sucks that it happened,,really does.

Take the windshield out, push the dents up carefully, Refit the windshield glass or go Plexiglass, full interior cage,,have some fun once again with a ORV sticker on the back.

you will have to go through a few inspections (once you fix everything) in order to get a legit title for the truck.. it will be insurable for sure

is any of that worth it to you? personaly i would do what Mod said, trail only truck
