At some point, I am going to delete the swaybar but has anyone deleted it with stock suspension? This is my daily driver but I wheel it as well.

I wouldn't with stock saggy old coils. Only if you have beefier aftermarket lift coils.

Thats what I'm thinking. All the more reason to get my lift.

What's the advantage of no front sway bar?

It allows the front wheels to work more independently of eachother in turn creating slightly better articulation. But if you only drive on-road it really doesn't do you much good.

Removing the swaybar should be a case by case basis depending on what you're doing. Removing it will cause more body roll on the front end. If you take a sharp turn at higher speeds, you can roll the vehicle.

If you spend a majority of time on the road to take alot of sharp, high speed turns in the mud, a swaybar is a good thing. If you spend more time crawling and need the articulation, a swyabar is a hindrance.

My question was specific to the removal of the swaybar with OEM suspension. I know its weak/soft but was questioning just how much body roll to expect.

I removed mine on the stock TRD front springs, I have 5100 bilsteins that help dampen the initial lean but if you are trying to you can basically drag the door handles on the ground on a sharp corner... Just take a bit of time to relearn the vehicle.

Deleting the sway bar on a 2012 TRD off-road 4x4 truck produces a very compliant ride on rough washboard roads and removes the unpleasant whip-saw when going over parking lot speed bumps at an angle, but sacrifices the high performance dynamic cornering behavior that the sway bar was put on the vehicle for. A sudden steering input at 40 MPH that you would normally think nothing of doing produces a pretty scary response if the sway bar is not there.

It would be really nice if Toyota were to provide a sway bar with an electric disconnect like the Jeep Rubicon has. One could then easily disconnect the sway bar when needed while keeping it in the vehicle for driving on highways where one might encounter a need for a sudden maneuver.

Should you try removing the sway bar, something that I won't recommend for liability reasons, you really do need to get some experience with the dynamic behavior of the truck without it. You risk rolling your truck if you continue to drive it like it had a sway bar.

I recently took my swaybar out on my '97 taco, it has stock struts and coils off a '98 v6 4runner with a top plate spacer lift. There was slightly more body roll but not significant enough to worry me, the only sketchy moment I had so far was in a panic stop type situation it was a little more squirly. Just have to learn and keep in mind the different behavior of the vehicle.
