I have a question, was trying to see if rear brakes were adjusted correctly by the self adjusting system inside the drum. I jacked up the back of the truck both rear tires in the air, truck in neutral I can spin the tires, no drag at all. The tires spin about ten times around, I was thinking there should be a slight drag on the rear tires from the brakes, thinking the rear tires should only spin one to three rotations. Correct me if I am wrong. If not I need to get in there with a brake spoon to tighten up the self adjuster. It is hard to get to on the Tacoma.

I assume you tried to adjust them the self adjusting way.

You pulled the drums, blew the dust out and took a look?

Yes, I did, I also tried backing up and pulling the E-brake numerous times. Any other suggestions?

I would tighten then up with a spoon until they spin about 1.5 times. There should be a small amount of drag.
