Anyone else sagging?

Hi guys..just joined forum....was wondering if any of you with the 98 tacomas noticed the rear of their truck sagging a bit? I know the older 4runners used to but I swear to me it seems like mine is as well. It just doesn't seem like it sits level anymore...what's up? or is it just me? I just had the shocks/struts replaced and was told that might fix it....but it hasn't. I needed them replaced anyway but it still looks like it sags. I am getting ready to put on a set of the TRD wheels and new tires on soon and want to get this sag problem fixed while it's all off if I can. It is barely noticeable to most people and granted it isn't sagging a great deal but I know it is and that's enough for me....could it be the springs? If so how much? Was told I could get blocks for the rear but don't really want them. I am not into having it totally modded out so to speak. I just want it back the way it was for now......please help this is really bothering me and no one seems to have an answer for me.....

 

Thanks so much for answering my questions.....how much would the replacement leaf pack cost me....I think I saw an AAL in a performance products catalog for around $50 bucks....is that about the going rate?

 

when i got my 04 4x4 dc........it sagged....my whole suspension was worn out. i got my new suspension at wheelersoffroad.com..........new rear leaf packs and new ome coils for the front...and along with some bilstein 5100's..........my ride is good to go for a while. check out wheelers........good prices and customer service too. and...they are a vendor here now.

 

+1...wait a minute, I have blocks!

 

Mine are sagging.. im about to run the 3" Skyjacker struts up front and put blocks under the rear.. maybe that will help

 

Grandma's been sagging for years. Poor old bag.

My 02 was not exactly sagging, but the leaves were flat to slightly down. I ordered a set of Alcan replacement stock height springs. Made a difference. I'm thinking they ran about $400 shipped.

 

That's just plain insulting.

 

Im sagging but it aint do to springs just an old ass thats dragging.

 

Just to clear this up....I am not sagging...only 31 yrs old and I assure you with the job I have there is no sagging going on in that department! Only the rear of my truck a little! lol

 

I had a 94' not called a tacoma yet that had rear sag quite bad.
The local spring shop said they could bake the rear springs and it would rbring them back to their original shape, thus reducing the sag. It was about $600.

mine have nevitave arch i need to do somthing about that but looking at it from the side it looks normal

 

Mine started sagging when I put my camper shell on two years after I bought it.I put a set of airlift airbags on it and that took care of it.I still wouldnt mind having a new set of springs.

 

After all of you guys' suggestions and help and after looking around I have decided to go ahead and buy a new leaf pack. Seems to be the best option so far. Was hoping not to spend that much but it's worth it to get my truck back to the way it was. So I guess I will go ahead and sink an extra 430 bucks into it along with the 600 plus for new tires and mounting and all....bummer but gotta happen.
