Has anybody had trouble installing the rear trail gear bumper ? It seems like it doesn't want to fit in between the frame , maybe I need to grind down down the mounts a bit ? Idk

Does it measure 41.5" between the mounts?

Is it a tube bumper? My brother had one, not sure who from but apparently it was tight as hell. He backed into a wall to get it pressed far enough back to get the bolts in :notsure:

Probably not a bad idea. I don't have first hand experience with it but he said it was a pain in the ass to get on right

1/2" too narrow. I would try to flex them out before I took off any material.
