Wow interesting. So all you need is a new belt size and bolt on? I imagine this would pair well with replacing the stock fan with a electric fan. Maybe even removing the balance shaft?

you might not even need new belts if you have enough adjustment in your pulleys.

All of the above, and it would be a definite seat of the pants improvement.

You are under driving those accy's, so expect the unexpected due to it being a different truck. Alum pulley's can wear really fast,,depending on the load placed. This is a crank pulley, so it's taking the full brunt.

Although the inst don't mention it, I would definitely keep a eye on the torque setting of that centerbolt. It's just high performance regular maintenance for alum aftermarket parts.

Surely LCE has done there homework, and will gladly help you step by step with little tips.

Hmmm I'd be real curious as to a before and after dyno run to see how much of a gain there might be. Sounds good though as long as they don't decrease the water pump and other accessories.

Of course you will feel it in the seat of your pants lol you just spent money on a performance upgrade so psychologically you want to feel it.

You folks do realize the only real benefit and reason for the existence of underdrive pulleys is for race engines running way above stock rev limits so the accessories don't turn too fast at say, 10,000 rpms?

Good point. But losing a few pounds of rotational mass has to help

That's what helps you get to those 10K rpms quicker as well, with the 4 kits of spray + water inject 890in Reher motor. Member to shift right!!, don't do a 1-2-1.

Right. I do some LS turbo drag racing with some friends. Gotta get spooled up quick. As far as my little 2.7 I'm just trying to get it to not shit on itself pulling out from a red light.
Underdrive crank pulley, stage one cams, light porting, aluminum radiator, electric fans, header and exhaust.........I hope to see a little improvement.
