I am lifting my truck 3 inches but looking into some new rims my question is will these 16x10 rims work with a 235 or 255 tire I would like to run a narrower tire. aje5yta5_660a91b147aabfb3d00be3bb2d73958b4c971078.jpg they are ion alloys -38 offset thanks

I have an OME 3" lift on my truck.

You don't need to go to a 10" wide rim with a taller/skinnier tire.
(You only give 16x10 as a wheel size and do not list any tire sizes you're considering.)
This comment comes from 150K on 255/85/R16 Discoverer ST(8" rim) and now running 235/80/R17 Cooper Discoverer ST MAXXs (also on an 8" wheel).
    Just my .02!

8" rim is sufficient and recommended for the tire sized you are wanting to run.

As stated above, the size tire you want to go with will be stretched out on a 10 inch wide. Definitely go with and 8 inch wide for that size tire
