Is there such a combo? I have read about the Eibach/5100 combo, but that will be about a 3" lift.

Also read you can use the 5100 with stock springs, but I'm afraid it will ride too harsh.

I'm not positive with the 1st gens but I know the 2nd gens have a combo with Eibachs/5100s that give about 2.5"s of lift and yes.....you can use stock springs on the 5100's for lift cause thats what they are made to do. Ride will be harsher then stock.

Look at Wheelers Offroad. They have various options that'll give you anywhere from 1.5"-3" of lift.

5100's up front with OME 884 springs will net you 2" up front. Out back throw the 5160's on there as the stock length ones are too short and the B110's are too long. then either do a 1.5 AAL or a full pack, id do the OME without the overload or wheelers one for 2".

I should add that (when I get the money), I'm going for a 2" lift using Wheelers:

    -Alcan 8-leaf rear springs
    -OME 883 coils
    -5100 shocks front/rear

That'll give me 2" of lift and reduce some of the front rake.

883 wont get you 2" up front unless you preload the coil, which isnt a good idea.. 884 will get you 2 up front with no preload.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm going to check into the 884 coils.

One more question- With 2" lift will I need to extend any brake lines or components?

Ome 884 are for 2nd gen trucks. If you get the 883 coil you will probably get more than 2" of lift.

Yes. Extend your brake lines as it'll prevent the lines from stretching and you may feel more responsive brakes since the lines will not swell as rubber lines do.

Thanks for the heads up ToyTaco. After a little more research it looks like I will need the 881 as I will not have any extra weight in the front.

Well I have an 04 Xcab and I'm running the bilstein 5100's and stock coils and it have me about 2" give or take and now I just gotta throw and AAL in the rear to level it out alittle.

It's not horrible really not as bad as most people think but I will definitly be upgrading to the eibachs soon just to give me alittle bit more lift and alittle better ride.
