fuel filter

Just asking for advice in changing fuel filter and the transmission fluid filter. What do I need to know? By the way I have a 2007 tacoma, extended cab. I am 64 years old and this is going to be my last vehicle.... thanks Fritz

 

I thought in the 2nd gens you could not change the fuel filter because it is inside the gas tank but I could be wrong?

 

I also thought and heard that some toyota trucks had the filter in the fuel pump?

 

Thats very possible as well. Try using the search feature up top and you should be able to find something on this subject.

 

It's a lifetime filter good for 1 Million miles assuming you don't dump dirt in your tank.
